I bought Sally's Salon for my niece's 9th birthday last year. In the 11 months since, I think I've played it even more than she has -- and that's a lot! The better you serve your customers, the happier they are and the bigger your tips. The more quickly you serve your customers, the more customers you have in a day and the more money you earn to shop for additional chairs, upgrades, and staff. It's so fun, but a bit addictive (when I installed it, I decided to "try it out" so I could help my niece learn it; when I finally looked up, I realized that I had been playing for nearly 6 hours!!). Download the trial to make sure it fits your taste; the fun of Sally's will be fully evident in the first 15-20 minutes (especially once you realize that the shops only get nicer -- and busier).

I wish it was longer (more levels). I like it because although strategy had to be experienced/learned, it was not too dificult to understand/master to the level where I was frustrated.

I really enjoy this one and would compare it most to Costume Chaos. If you liked that one you'll like this, they're very similar. Only instead of costumers you're doing hair. I haven't bought this one yet, and I usually either love them and buy them right away or know right away I don't want it, but I keep going back and forth with this one, which is why I gave it a 4. I'll probably end up buying it, it's fun but these types of games end way too quickly!
